A new poll shows that most Americans believe that large companies should not take a stance on abortion. The vote comes at a time when companies such as Disney, Uber, Levis, Apple, and many others are announcing that they will pay travel expenses for employees who leave the state to have abortions.
“At 51% to 23%, Americans say big corporations shouldn’t take a public stance on abortion,” the YouGov survey confirmed. The remaining 26% had no position.
Republicans, by a margin of 75% to 9%, said big business should not take a stance on abortion, while Democrats were relatively split between 33% and 43%.
Even women 49-23% agree that big companies should not have a stance on abortion. Independents agreed with 54-16%.

The real handmaiden story is that all these companies that pay their female employees have abortions done, so they don’t have to pay for maternity care and maternity leave.
Meanwhile, Walt Disney World, a company founded to bring fun and entertainment to children, told employees Friday that it will pay for their travel expenses to have their unborn babies aborted.
The news came after the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in a landmark ruling Friday morning. Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health decision means states can protect unborn babies by banning abortions again.
The Orange County Register reports that Walt Disney World announced the new employee “benefit” in response to the Supreme Court’s ruling.
The company, which employs about 80,000 people in Florida, described the killing of unborn babies in abortions as “quality health care” and told Reuters it is “committed” to ensuring its employees have access to abortions, the report said.

Effective July 1, Although there is no total ban on abortion, pro-life advocates believe the law will save thousands of unborn babies each year from mid and late-term abortions.
This isn’t the first time Disney has dabbled in abortion politics. In 2019, the entertainment giant threatened to boycott the state of Georgia after lawmakers passed a law to protect unborn babies by banning abortions as soon as their heartbeats are detectable, about six weeks gestation.
For nearly 50 years, Roe v. Wade forced states to legalize abortions for any reason until they were viable and allowed states to legalize abortions indefinitely until birth. As a result, more than 63 million unborn babies and hundreds of mothers died in supposedly “safe” legal abortions.
In the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Mississippi case on Friday, the Supreme Court returned the power to make abortion decisions to the states.
In the ruling, the Supreme Court said the court was wrong to describe abortion as a constitutional right under Roe because no such right exists.

“The Constitution does not refer to abortion, and any constitutional provision does not implicitly protect such a right,” Judge Samuel Alito wrote in the majority decision.
Now states are once again protecting unborn babies from abortion. A recent analysis by the Guttmacher Institute predicted that 24 states would keep abortions legal while 26 would ban them.
Some of these states still have pre-Roe laws that prohibit abortions, and others have trigger laws that immediately forbid the killing of unborn babies in abortions once Roe is destroyed. Some also have multiple pro-life laws, including heartbeat laws and other laws restricting or banning abortions, which will come into effect now that Roe is gone.
Meanwhile, pro-life advocates nationwide have also campaigned to increase support services for needy families. Pro-lifers run thousands of maternity centers and maternity homes across the US, as well as scholarship programs, counseling services, financial aid services, and more to help families in need. These programs give families hope, encouragement, and the chance to overcome their struggles so that no mother ever feels like she has to abort her unborn baby to survive.
